CIST

Media Lab | MIT

This is an hour-long music improvisation that experiments with sound and light. CIST, the central piece of the performance, is a large sculptural piece covered by layers of fabric which acts as the “conductor” of the improvisation.

Visually striking in itself, this architectural object can be easily modified in shape and light to convey performative information for musicians and the public to follow.
